‘Gabbar Singh 2’ Cast: Rakul Preet Singh

If we are to go by the latest buzz in T-Town, actress Rakul Preet Singh, who is basking in the success of “Loukyam”, is likely to play the love interest of ‘Power Star’ Pawan Kalyan in his upcoming movie “Gabbar Singh 2”.

The casting of the female lead for “Gabbar Singh 2” has been creating some buzz in the media, ever since Samapath Nandi announced the project.

Leading actresses like Anushka Shetty, Samantha, Tamannaah Bhatia and Shruti Haasan were linked with this big-ticket movie. Also, it was earlier reported that the makers had approached Shraddha Kapoor for the female lead.

And now, latest reports suggest that Rakul Preet is being considered for the role.

“Rakul Preet might play the female lead opposite Pawan Kalyan in “Gabbar Singh 2″. Though an official confirmation is still awaited, her name has been strongly making the rounds,” reported 123Telugu. Read more

Vikram’s ‘I’ release date in January

vikram-iThe audio of Vikram-Shankar’s “I” Hindi and Telugu versions is all set to be launched on 5 December and 10 December, respectively.

The Hindi audio launch will be held in Mumbai, while the Telugu music release will take place in Hyderabad. Earlier, there were reports that Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone would attend the Hindi audio and Jackie Chan will be present for the Telugu version. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.

The music release of “I” Tamil version was held in a grand manner on 15 September. “Terminator” actor Arnold Schwarzenegger attended the big event along with celebrities like Rajinikanth, Puneeth Rajkumar, Vikram, AR Rahman and Shankar among others. The songs have received fantastic response from fans and it remains to be seen if the Hindi, Telugu version of the songs will receive good feedback from the audience. Read more

The pending issue of introduction of city bus services in Guntur city by APSRTC is to be resolved soon as arrangements are being expedited in view of the new capital in Guntur district.

A city bus depot will be started on five acres of land in Pedakakani adjacent to Guntur to park 60 buses sanctioned under JNNURM. The new capital Tullur is 36 kms to 45 kms on various routes. Hence, the APSRTC is planning to start services to the new capital. Read more

Eros City at Kapuluppada in Vizag

eros-vizagAP government on Saturday signed an MoU with UK-based Eros Investment Ltd (EIL) for setting up Entertainment City in Vizag and the facility is most likely to come up in Kapuluppada where the government has 1,750 acres of land.
The multi-billion dollar worth entertainment city will have a media city, amusement park, commercial and residential complexes, hotels, leisure options and healthcare facilities. The valuable land has been lying vacant due to a  case pending in the state High Court after APIIC cancelled the land allotment to 2G scam accused Unitech Pvt Ltd in 2011. It may be mentioned  here that APIIC has no other suitable site in and around Vizag to construct  such a mega facility.

The research by the University of Colorado Boulder and Humboldt State University shows that senior citizens who run several times a week for exercise expend about the same amount of energy walking as a typical 20-year-old.

Professor Justus Ortega, who led the study, said that the bottom line was that running keeps one younger, at least in terms of energy efficiency. Read more

Andhra Pradesh lines up 6 MoUs during Naidu’s Japan visit
